Small Business Storage for Valley Center Kansas Companies

Are you a small business in Valley Center, Kansas? Or maybe you’re looking to expand to the Wichita market but not yet ready to invest in real estate in town? Try our mini warehouse for rent. We’ll give you an edge and allow you to “grow into business” instead of “going into business.”

They say that “location, location, location” is key when considering real estate. And yes, it’s true. For one small business, that meant Christmas storage for decorations that needed to be distributed across the Wichita area. To take the decorations back to a home office would be too far. And there were too many artificial trees and boxes of Christmas finery to organize in a parking lot. Enter a self storage unit. With the help of a large crew, boxes were unloaded, items unpacked/sorted, and trucks reloaded for distribution and setup. This small business used a self-storage unit as a fulfillment and distribution center. Here in Valley Center Kansas, you can too.

Storage answers for online business needs

Maybe you have a fledgling Etsy or eBay business and don’t have room at home to store all of your online wares. Store In A Wink’s mini-warehouse for rent units is perfect for keeping your inventory while marketing the business online. Our secure storage areas will help you get started, and, soon, you’ll be the next Amazon and need to expand your product line!

Like any business venture, you’ll need to ensure that your plans conform to local laws. You may not legally be able to sit inside your storage unit, conduct phone calls and meetings, and occupy the unit for day-to-day business. Although it may feasibly be possible, it may not be legal. Think “storage” and “warehouse” when considering a unit and the pros/cons as to if it will help your business. You can always run to a nearby coffee shop to catch up on email and communicate with customers. Our units help keep your inventory in Park City (close to North Wichita) and out of your car’s trunk.

Looking for U-Haul truck rental or other storage solutions? We’ve got outdoor and secure indoor parking for RV storage, boat storage, or even for keeping your extra vehicle.

Brief history of Valley Center Kansas

Remember when the Kansas Coliseum was the place to go for events in the area? We sure do! The Kansas Coliseum opened in 1977 and served Valley Center, Kansas and the surrounding Wichita area for 33 years. It featured the Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus and many concerts, including Aerosmith, Neil Diamond, Elton John, and others. In addition, the Coliseum hosted the Wichita Wings indoor soccer team and several indoor football teams over the years.

Although the Coliseum is no longer open to the public, you can still enjoy family fun in Valley Center. Small children can cool off during the summer at McLaughlin Park’s Splash Park, a free spot for kids to play underwater jets while parents watch in the shade.
